A splendid whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, aged Tawny Port pipes and casks, distinctive to The Dalmore, which have held 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry. Expect notes of exotic fruits, marzipan, vanilla pods, treacle toffee, fig cake and sweet balsamic on the nose. Orange peel, chocolate truffles, licorice, sweet damsons, and raisins on the palate. Ending with a smooth spiced gingerbread finish.
